haha , really your studies are very nice , i just don't get the reason why your imaginations pictures looks a bit flat , somehow not really attractive (for me) , i'm sure you got the skills , so it's maybe inspiration lacking or a bit or self-confidence when you have to create from nothing , i dunno but still there is quite a gap between both and it's pretty obvious that you got the skills to do stunning pics .

Anyway the last one, the street, is quite nice , pretty well done !!

Alright I need to let out some steam.
This frickin painting I'm working on, I spent all night and it still looks like crap. What the hell? I've painted characters before and they turned out much better, with more complex clothing to boot. What the fuck. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO PAINT CHARACTERS? I spend like 3 times what I would on an enviro.

I'm going to show this even though I feel slightly embarassed.

yep the second chara is way better than the first one who look a bit stiff, i think the main problem is the proportions , it doesn't look "right"

I just realized I forgot to throw a canvas texture on top at the end but its in the brushwork in places.
Fuck, that was hard. merde. you want a challenge, try reproducing a rembrandt.
